Could Your Financials Cost You Millions?

𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵.

When founders think about what makes their company valuable, they naturally think about revenue and profit.

But there’s another question a potential buyer is going to ask:

Can I trust the numbers?

Think about it from the buyer’s perspective.

They’re potentially writing a very large check based, in part, on the financial performance you’ve presented to them.

Are the books clean and up-to-date?

Are revenue and expenses being recorded consistently?

Will a buyer have confidence in the financial statements they’re reviewing?

Because uncertainty creates risk. And risk lowers value.

Clean, accurate, and transparent financials give credibility to your revenue and profits. They can make due diligence easier and give a buyer greater confidence in the business they’re buying.

And when you’re talking about the sale of a valuable company, that difference can be millions of dollars.

That’s why getting “showroom-ready”—including clean financial statements—isn’t something you should wait to do until you’re ready to sell.

Building a company someone would want to buy—even if you have no intention of selling it—is simply good business.

I’m putting together a 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 where founders will identify what’s increasing—or holding back—the value of their businesses and work on improving it.
